I have been a working artist and educator all my adult life, and now focus entirely on my own work. Until April, my work hangs in the SC Department of Commerce in Columbia. My winning painting, Uncaged, hangs in The Burroughs Chapin Art Museum in Myrtle Beach. It was awarded 1st Place in the NAWASC exhibit celebrating the organization’s 1889 founding. I have a solo show coming up in Charleston for the month of April, and I continue to be recognized in online competitions. In local shows, my pieces have been awarded Best in Show, 1st and 2nd places, and I feel my years of hard work are paying off!
I submitted a piece to a NAWA exhibit at The Vanda Gallery, New Rochelle, NY and it was accepted. So we are going to the reception on Friday March 8. I’m so looking forward to it!
